VINCE SHUTE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
View wild bears in a natural setting as they play, eat, climb, vocalize and/or just hang out in the trees!

VERMILION GORGE
This 1.5 mile trail can be easily hike in 3 hours. The last portion of the trail parallels the Vermilion River Gorge - a rugged landscape of sheer granite cliffs and rock outcrops.

VERMILION FALLS
A beautiful falls on the Vermilion River with a parking area just a few yards away. Near the Vermilion Gorge access; can be seen on the same trip.

VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK where there is hiking, biking and a boat tour into the park.

INTERNATIONAL WOLF CENTER can be seen on a day trip to Ely. When traveling to Ely try the Echo Trail through the BWCAW. Keep an eye out for moose, wolves and other wildlife.

SOUDAN UNDERGROUND MINE STATE PARK
One of our most popular day trips. The mine tour takes you .5 mile down into the earth in a cage like the one the miners used in earlier days. Once underground, you will take a .75 mile train ride to the last and deepest area mined.

BOIS FORTE HERITAGE CENTER
Visit the Atisokanigamig "Legend House" and experience the culture and proud heritage of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe.

VAN AIR TOURS stops at our dock once a week offering flights over Pelican Lake, Nett Lake and the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary.
