The lodge and owners residence is a restored
1930's vintage barn. This barn was built by the original homesteaders
who farmed prior to establishing the resort. Before restoration
the barn was moved from its original site (approximately 1000
ft.) to a location more central to the resort. All the lumber
used in this project is locally harvested red pine. The interior
of the lodge features the original open beam ceiling. Almost
everyone that enters the lodge marvels at the skill of the
builders and the time it must have taken to build the barn.
For those rainy days the lodge has satellite TV, pool table,
board games, books and a small gift shop.
The lodge is large enough for gatherings up to 50 people.
